From the beach, the Budva Riviera looks like one long string of sunbeds. From the water, it turns into a different coastline entirely: sea caves cut into the cliffs, beaches you can only reach by boat, and the glowing Blue Cave. Our half-day boat tour leaves Budva marina at 10:00 and brings you back before the afternoon crowds — here is what to expect on board.
What do you actually see on the tour?
The route follows the most dramatic stretch of the Montenegrin coast: sea caves carved into the cliffs, hidden beaches tucked between headlands, the famous Blue Cave with its electric-blue water, and postcard views of Sveti Stefan from the sea. Your skipper and guide are licensed professionals who know exactly when each spot is at its calmest and least crowded.
Can you swim and snorkel?
Yes — swimming stops are built into the tour, and they are deliberately placed in calm, sheltered bays rather than open water. Snorkeling gear is included in the price, so you can explore below the surface without bringing anything but swimwear and a towel.
Is the boat tour suitable for children?
Very much so. The boat is spacious and comfortable, the group is small — maximum 14 people — and the swimming stops in protected bays are ideal for kids. Children up to 10 years old pay a discounted price of €40.
How much does it cost and what is included?
Tickets are €45 for adults and €40 for children up to 10. The price includes the licensed guide and skipper, drinks and snacks on board, and snorkeling equipment. A transfer to Budva is not included — the tour starts and ends at Budva marina, with departure at 10:00.
What if the sea is rough?
Tours are rescheduled or refunded if weather conditions are not suitable for sailing, and you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before departure — so booking early costs you nothing in flexibility.
