Day 1 — Canyoning at Drenostica (the adrenaline day)

Drenostica Canyon is a 15-minute drive from Budva Old Town, and in 2–3 hours you swim, slide, zip-line and jump through emerald pools with a licensed ICOpro guide. It is beginner-friendly (from age 7), €100 per person with all gear and free GoPro footage included, and it leaves your afternoon free for the beach. It is the perfect high-energy opener for the trip.
Day 2 — A boat day on the Budva Riviera (the recovery day)
After the canyon, slow down on the water. A half-day boat tour leaves Budva marina at 10:00 and follows the coast to sea caves, the Blue Cave and hidden beaches you can only reach by boat, with swim and snorkel stops in calm, sheltered bays. Guests rave about the views of Sveti Stefan from the sea. It is €45 for adults, €40 for children, and it is the easy, scenic middle day your legs will thank you for.
Day 3 — A hike into the mountains (the big-views day)
Finish high. Montenegro packs five mountain ranges into a small country, and a day hike from Budva can take you to a glacial lake or a panoramic ridge in Durmitor, Lovćen or Prokletije. Choose an easy lake walk or a more demanding summit — tours run from €100 with certified local guides, and the season is best from May to October. It is the perfect contrast to the coast and a memorable way to end the trip.
